Well, I guess I know now who Ashe was based off. That's just me never having played WoW or any other Warcraft games for that matter, but having played League of Legends the resemblance is unquestionable to me.
Actually, Ashe is a frost archer, I used blue here because the guy in the background ( Lich King) he lives on the top of an ice tower and his whole kingdom is snow and ice. And undead.
He transformed Sylvanas (the girl on the picture), but she's more like a Banshee, she's undead but... Hmm... Do you know the character who's the base of Ashe in the war3 mod perhaps? I've played dota2 yesterday and couldn't figure it out...
Sorry, I'm not familiar with Warcraft mythos nor am I much familiar with DotA2, besides the fact that the guys that made the original DotA moved on to create League of Legends. It actually mistifies me why people are paying hard cash for something so similar to LoL if they can get LoL for free... is the DotA2 community better or something? Actually, that's not out of question cause you can't get much worse than LoL community, then again depends who you're playing with.
All I'm saying is that Ashe and Sylvanas look alike, especially the design of their armor.
I don't think it has a community at all it just got out of beta or something.. I've played only 1 game so far and LoL gave me a better experience that's for sure. And I'll go nuts if I have to hear the narrator again in dota2...
Sorry for rambling. I know that feel bro. Polish narrator for LoL drove me nuts, hence why I prefer the original English. Nice voice, but she sounds as if she couldn't give less shit, at least to me. Some people actually like her, which is mystifying to me, to say the least, but as a saying goes "One does not discuss tastes and color", people just view some things differently.
Money well spent then, huh? I hope in the long run it will prove to be a more worthwhile purchase. Still, I think if it had a free trial, most people would prolly go "why don't we just play League of Legends instead?", but those that payed are kinda stuck with it, so they can get their moneys worth. I don't know, I might be entirely wrong, but even if a) I had time and b) I had an incentive to pay just to try it, I still don't have a way to pay for games on Steam currently, because long story short, parental control.
For me and many people you just can't beat free and good and LoL is an amazing game, even if Riot is still struggling with less than amazing community.
