Personal Take: At some point in the near future, humans get tired of taking "selfies" and build robots to do it for them. I think this is a great concept. My Selfies folder is dedicated to ambiguous mockery of the phenomenon.
Go down the rabbit hole on this one by making your robots do all sorts of stupid human/tech stuff-- planking springs to mind.
*Stares at screen with Chell face* DUDE, THIS IS GLaDOS! She's not a fudging robot that follows orders! She's a homicidal, cake-loving, test-addicted, pretty ruthless 40 foot long supercomputer AI that hangs from the motherfucking ceiling, and she would kill in at least over 1000 ways. She's made by Valve, and you don't have to treat her like that just cause you don't understand her
It's good art, but I can only tolerate looking at so much rule 34/porn before I get sick of it. I don't go seeking it out, ever. A few days ago a troublemaker joined my local brony Meetup.com group, dumped a bunch of pony porn in the image galleries of recent meetups, and then left the site. Our group's admin(s) and website staff had to spend a couple of hours deleting it, but the attendees of those meetups had already received e-mails for "New photos uploaded for ____!". The damage was done. And I was online at the time they hit, so I had to go through and do a lot of the initial image reportings and flaggings.
I realize that "this" is what Atryl does, but I don't need to see that aspect of his work. I'm perfectly content with just seeing the "safe-for-work" stuff.
