A famous artist draws an alicorn OC, he gets all the nice comments about it.
If an unfamous artist like me draws an alicorn OC, i get HATED and bullied for it...
Why do i have to be so forsaken...
But I think it has to do more with the backstory and why they're an alicorn, you know?
I took a look at the character's tumblr, and they aren't really a... Well, natural alicorn. They were scientifically created for some reason or another. People tend to have problems with alicorn OCs because a lot of the time, they don't have a good backstory or reason for being there. Alicorns are powerful creatures and shouldn't exist 'just because the artist wanted it to'.
It's sort of a 'mary-sue' issue, I think. vwv
I DUNNO WHAT YOUR ALICORN IS LIKE and I'm not accusing you of making a mary-sue; far from it, but I think that's why people have problems with alicorn OCs.
BASICALLY... People don't tend to like alicorn characters being made without an incredibly decent origin story and purpose, considering there's only three in the actual series and they're all Princesses (So they're kind of an 'all powerful species'). Which is fair, I think, but I hate that you'd actually get bullied for it. :c

It is unfair that unpopular people get hate and I agree with you; I was just pointing out how picky people can be over Alicorn characters. ;v;
You shouldn't let that stop you, though. I know hateful comments can hurt, but as long as they're not from people you care about, why let it bother you? Have fnu with what you're doing and just block those who leave you hate! Or report them; it's considered harassment, you know~.
Itīs just pulling me down if someone dislikes something i did for them. I try to ignore guys like these, but it has something to do with my past. Getting reminded of it really takes me back to the sad times.
