Have I ever told you that I freaking love you, Atryl?
If I did, let me say it again: I freaking love you, Atryl.
First up, thank you very much for making Gilda art. The world always needs more of my favourite bitch, most especially when she's not being bitchy and is instead being both adorable and sexy as all hell.
I like her extremely casual pose, most especially with how her talons are intertwined and splayed out like that. It's just so relaxed, natural, and all spiky and all over the place that I can't help but "Squee!" over it.
Thank you very much for having her on her knees. I mean this in a... uh... somewhat not pornographic sense, as I really enjoy poses where female models are on their knees like that.
Excellent face. I like how it just screams, "Yes?" so casually, along with that tiny smile that is just so happy, if at the least tolerant of your inquiry and/or presence.
Good God, man, your attention to detail. I love how there are these tiny tufts of fur just bunched up and fluffed up by her paw pads, the start of her talons, and her tail. It makes her feel so... fluffy and adorable that I... hrrnnnggghhhh...
Thank you. Seriously, just... just... thank you.
Same deal with the feathers. The individual strands and their sparsity, just enough to show that they are there but not too many to become distracting, was a real treat for the eyes. I just love attention to minuscule, almost insignificant details, as they add so much to a picture in the, uh, bigger picture.
That didn't come out right, I think.
Her head feathers are amazing. I love the large poofy fluffiness, yet the still distinctively Gilda style to it. Excellent work with the bottommost feather and the curvature; I never could get those "bangs" to look right, mostly because they curve the same way as the other two.
Her beak. Wow. Like I said earlier, I love that smile, and I love even more how you managed to make a perfectly natural, excellent looking smile on her beak. Being a notoriously sore spot for me, seeing someone pull off a natural human expression on a non-human part makes me sing praises and thank the Powers That Be for creating this artist and their desire to draw.
That artist is, obviously, you.
Did I forget about this? PAW PADS. OMAGAWD. I like your addition of this uniquely feline and canine feature on her hind paws. Bonus points into how naturally the paws themselves bend, following proper reverse-jointed anatomy, yet lacking lines and detail to really emphasise that they bend in reverse, compared to ours.
Chest tufts, buck yeah! I like how the feathers extend over where she would have boobs if she weren't a hybridised anthro. The fluffiness and the lack of any explicitly naughty bits just makes her all the sexier and this picture even better, I say.
I like your arms and legs, man. I enjoy how they don't follow the curvature of proper, human muscles and are instead just rectangles or triangles, yet still look proper and really fucking awesome. The elbows on Gilda were amazing, by the way.
Body curvature = HOT. I like how she curves while still following acceptable anatomical constraints. The really wide hips and the smooth, smooth curve of her flank makes me drool. Her thighs aren't half-bad, too; I like the muscular thickness that steadily narrows into her knees, and how they look right proper bent at that angle and perspective.
If I may make a request, please draw more Gilda. Preferably with Fluttershy. That would be awesome, and some shipping art of them will make me froth and scream with undiluted fan-boy joy. I am so thankful we have computer screens between us or you will have a marginally unpleasant time, experiencing the full force of my happiness.
Once again, I freaking love you, man, and thank you.
Well, just about everything I could say has been said in the comments below, so I'll just say, it's works of art like this that inspire me. Atryl is one of several sources of inspiration I've collected, and I sincerely wish I could support him.
