What few knows is that ponys have very primitive magic compared to humans, the unicorn horn allows them to concentrate the mana flow and get more power out of it. However, the humans have a strenght in hands as they allow them to have better control over the mana flow, thus making it easier for them to construct more advanced spells, at the cost of them requiring more mana to reach the same raw strenght as the same spell cast by a unicorn, however, humans balance it by being able tocontrol the spells more acurately thanks to having 10 arcane tips instead of one.
